Deer Creek Sharp Shooters — A Maryland Homecoming at Star Bright Farm

We’re especially excited to welcome the Deer Creek Sharp Shooters to Star Bright Farm for a very special Maryland homecoming!

The story of the Deer Creek Sharp Shooters began right here in Harford County, Maryland, where five friends came together in 2012 over a shared love of bluegrass and acoustic music. In 2016, the band headed west to Colorado, where they’ve continued to evolve their sound—blending traditional bluegrass roots with an energetic, playful and innovative style all their own.

Now based in Colorado, the Deer Creek Sharp Shooters return to Maryland just once a year to reunite and play together—and this year, we’re thrilled to have them performing at Star Bright Farm!

Known for their high-energy live shows, great musicianship and infectious camaraderie, DCSS brings the kind of music that just feels right on a fall afternoon at the farm. Named “Best New Bluegrass Band” by Denver Westword in 2022, they’ve performed at festivals including WinterWonderGrass, The Ramble Festival and Tico Time Bluegrass Festival.

Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets and make yourself comfortable.

This event is rain or shine. If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply move the music inside the barn!

Tickets are $20 per person. Children under 12 are free.

When purchasing tickets online, please select “On Farm Pick Up” as your delivery option at checkout. There is no physical ticket to pick up. Your name will be placed on our guest list, and you’ll simply check in when you arrive.
