We are excited to welcome back Marta Riemer for this very popular Eco Printing Workshop. After retiring from the corporate world, Marta allowed her creative side to take off! She is ever curious and always learning and perfecting new creative skills. We sell her eco dyed prints in the Barn Market, which have prompted so much curiosity and request for a workshop!

Learn to Eco-Print! Eco printing is the botanical printing technique used to extract the natural dyes and tannins of plant material and imprint them on paper and textiles. In this class you will learn to print on paper as a foundational course.

The afternoon will start with a stroll about the farm to collect plant material. Marta will guide you with her experienced knowledge about how certain plant material will respond to the process.

This will be followed by instruction and hands on print making. While we wait for the steaming process to reveal our plants “ inner selves” we’ll enjoy a glass of wine ( or other non alcoholic beverage) and a small bite while we discuss the process in more depth as well as variations on the technique.

All materials are included in the price: Each participant will leave with their own creation, ready to frame and hang on the wall!
