Turkey Wings & Hawk Tails: A Broommaking Workshop

Join Emileigh Zola for a day of intentional crafting in a space rooted in depth, belonging, and inspiration. Known for her grounded, embodied presence, Emileigh creates a welcoming environment where participants feel seen, supported, and invited into the process of making with care.

In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn to work with broomcorn (sorghum) to craft two beautiful and functional brooms: a turkey wing whisk and a hawk tail whisk. Emileigh will guide you step by step through the technique, sharing skills that can be carried into future broom-making. You'll have access to an assortment of herbs (yes lavender!) to work with, harvested fresh from the farm - they are lovely woven into the brooms.

Moderate hand strength is needed for this craft and use of the feet will be necessary.
